Hybrid Theory

By Jim Thio

Economic theory to Evolution theory is like Math to Physics.

If I drop a stone with a known constant acceleration, and hear a “bumping” sound after a certain time, I can predict the distance the stone drop based on the time (ignoring sound speed).

That part is Math. It’s not physics. It’s Math. You see, Math teaches us what’s obvious by it self. Math doesn’t teach us why the stone fall in the first place and why the acceleration is constant.

The fact that if we drop a stone it will, approximately, accelerate downward with a constant acceleration is physics.

The same way, economic theory will correctly predict that those who like to eat apple will be willing to sacrifice some of this money to buy apple so he can eat it. However, economic theory, will not teach us why people like to eat apple in the first place instead of humans’ dung.

Economic theories do not, however, explain why some people are commies? Why some people are religious bigots? Why your priests talk against free sex way more than they talk against stealing or robbing? Why the commies tend to support free sex? Why religious fundamentalists often oppose free sex but support free trade?

Evolution theory is the most accurate and powerful method to explain all those within the fewest principles. That’s why I love evolution theory so much.

More importantly, evolution theories do not use too much math, unlike Physics or Economy. So I can communicate more fluently with the majority of my web visitors.

Understand those few principles, and we’ll have good guesses of what’s really going on behind the events in our life. We, understanding the real problem can then choose more appropriate solutions.

It just happens that those with hidden political motives are often those who use out of this world metaphysical justification for their causes. Such justifications usually involve abstract concepts, like morality, or faith based irrational beliefs, like religions.

And that’s, as we shall see, is the reason behind religious opposition toward evolution theory.

Powerful and influential politicians, religious leaders and dictators have killed billions of people to prevent those people from even consider the truthfulness of conclusions we can know from evolution theory.

Billions more have been poorer, starve, died, or even tortured, due to lies and prejudices embraced by still the majority of humans’ population.

Thanks to freedom of speech and internet technology you’ll see the stuff so many.

So tune on. I’ll write about the basic principles of evolution theory latter.
